Overview

For customers requiring a more sophisticated control régime than simple measurement and display, pilot plants can be equipped with the Mi-Pla-modularautomation systems from Dr Appelhaus Engineering.

Facilities offered by Mi-Pla-modular systems

• Remote operation of the plant
• Entry of setpoints and sequences
• Data capture and logging
• Graphical visualization of parameters such as temperature, pressure etc., and their evolution over time

Brief technical data

The core of the system is the Siemens Simatic S5/95 100U process control system. Overall supervision and data display is executed from a PC running either Siemens WinCC or Hartmann & Braun DIGIMATIK software under Windows 95/98 or Windows NT.
