Vessel with lifting stage

Main Reactor Vessel - 20 Liters Capacity with Lifting Stage

Vessel

Rated pressure 9 Bar. The vessel has a heating jacket rated at 6 Bar for heating by steam or heat transfer oil. One of the insulated tubes that connect the jacket to the thermostat is visible on the right

Hydraulically operated lifting stage

For convenient raising, lowering and tilting of the main reactor vessel. Operated by a pedal situated at the right of the base. The stage is fitted with blockable castors for easy movement.




Mechanically sealed stirrerhead

Mechanically sealed stirrerhead, vessel lid and anchor stirrer

Mechanically sealed stirrerhead

Mechanically sealed stirrerheads are suitable for high temperature heavy duty service up to 350°C and 50 Bar pressure. The mating surfaces are usually carbon and ceramic.

Vessel lid

The vessel lid, which is fixed to the stainless steel mounting frame, has various connections on the lid for the feeder funnel, pressure gage, excess pressure valve, nitrogen and vacuum inlets, and vapor outlet

Anchor stirrer

The anchor stirrer, visible under the lid, is screwed onto the stirrerhead. Other designs of stirrer are available. The thermometer dip tube is visible between the right hand arms of the stirrer.




Torque sensor display unit

Torque sensor display unit

The torque sensor display unit shows torque on the stirrer shaft and also the shaft speed. The torque sensor is an enclosed unit fixed directly onto the stirrer motor. The version shown is for 19" rack mounting; a free standing model is also available.




9 kw Thermostat

9 KW Thermostat

The unit contains a heater, rated 9KW, circulating pump, excess temperature shutoff . For use from 20°C to 320°C. The tank holds up to 12 liters of heat transfer fluid. The heating circuit contains between 3 and 8 liters of fluid, depending on size of vessel and application.

Programmable thermostat controller for the 9 KW thermostat, 19" rack mounted version.




High Temp. valve

High temperature valve

The high temperature valve serves to divert heat transfer fluid though a water cooled heat exchanger (not visible in picture) for cooling the vessel. It is controlled by the Thermostat Control Unit.




Reflux condenser

Reflux condenser

The component shown can be used either as a reflux condenser, or as a fractionating column. If used as a reflux condenser, water is passed through the outer cooling jacket. If used as a fractionating column, it is packed and the jacket left empty.




Tube and shell condenser

Condenser

The main condenser has a central DN25 inlet for vapors, and is fed from the reflux condenser . The bunch of 37 straight tubes are easy to clean. Condensate outlet is a DN15 vertical connection.




Condensate receiver

Collector

A 5 liter vessel with a bottom outlet valve to collect product.
